Soft Scape : “She’s No Longer a Virgin…” (A poem in twenty parts.)

By Daniel Pettus.

amongst old pines covered with snow.
fought by last night’s mistake: tomorrow’s burden.
when did you become so rude with yourself?
we’ve always been that way with one another.
no time for pleasant memories. evolution has a toll.
shrink wrapped, oddly. yesterday no smell suite.
plucked from the sea, to honor your shadow.
finger-laced soft-scape spinning brain mass.
deeper and harder. to twirl yourself rapid.
